rehabilitation in Wisconsin

Individual addiction therapy

On a weekly basis, for a few hours, members meet one-on-one with one of our licensed professionals in a private setting to explore their addiction, strategize and heal. It is then that the individual’s most personal struggles with addiction and underlying mental health are addressed. These sessions are also a great time to build positive coping skills, and to set goals and chart the path forward.

Group therapies

When it comes to recovery, one of the most important things for a client to feel is that they’re not alone. Small group therapy takes place in a judgment-free setting where clients can speak openly about their struggles, learn from shared experiences, and hold each other up to reinforce a strong commitment to recovery and build a lifelong support network.

Dual diagnosis treatment

A dual diagnosis is present when drug and alcohol addiction is accompanied by a mental health disorder, such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Because these co-occurring conditions feed into one another, we believe it’s important to treat them at the same time in order for our clients to truly break the cycle and begin to heal and move forward with their lives in recovery.

Case management

At WellBrook Recovery, our case management services ensure that every aspect of your recovery journey is carefully coordinated. By providing ongoing, responsive support and guidance throughout your stay, you case manager synchronizes all aspects of your care and your goals helping you navigate any challenges along the way.

Questions you may have

When you arrive for admission at Wellbrook Detox, you will be greeted by a registered nurse and behavioral health technician who will help you get settled in. They will help ease any anxiety about the process, answer your questions, and provide initial consents and assessments, including gathering your medical history and substance use history. Your blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen status will be taken, and your blood may be drawn to assess how well your body is functioning and your nutrition and hydration status. All histories and assessments are administered to help us keep you safe during your time at Wellbrook Recovery’s Detox, and we will always explore these with you in a non-judgmental way.

At Wellbrook Recovery, you will be cared for by a medical team that includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, therapists, and behavioral health techs. All of our staff members have specifically made the choice to work in mental health and addiction medicine because they hold the belief that people should be treated with dignity and respect. It is our goal to treat people in a humane way and support them through their process.

Yes. You can arrive to check in at a drug and alcohol detox center even while you are still drunk or high (having been driven there by someone else…), if you feel like you need to do so.

However, this is likely to prolong your stay by a little as you must first come down and become sober, before detox assessment or work can begin. Regardless of your condition, we will welcome you with respect and care at Wellbrook Recovery in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and treat your condition as needed.

Wellbrook Recovery Wisconsin allows clients to bring along their own personal electronic mobile devices. However, our experience has shown that due to the fragile nature of the withdrawal process from drugs or alcohol, it is not advisable and occasionally even unsafe to have regular unfettered access to the outside world during the first critical days of detox.

As such, we don’t allow you to hold your personal devices during the first 48 hours after arriving at Wellbrook as you get your footing steady and your recovery in focus. (Some exceptions can be made to accommodate certain needs and requests).

WellBrook Recovery in Wisconsin has around 20 beds, with single and dual bed room options, providing an intimate and supportive environment for personalized care.

During detox you will always have your own private room with ensuite full bathroom providing comfort and privacy during your stay.

During the post-detox longer-term rehabilitation in our inpatient residential program, private rooms may be available, but regardless, no room has more than two individuals sharing their own ensuite full bathroom. Availability and insurance coverage can vary for fully private rooms, so please contact us to hear your options.

WellBrook Recovery provides both day and night IOP options to accommodate different schedules and ensure flexibility in treatment.
