What does the Medical Detox Program look like?

For the first step in recovery, Wellbrook Recovery, Wisconsin offers a dignified inpatient drug and alcohol detox program lasting 4-7 days. Upon arrival, clients are greeted by a charge nurse trained in addiction care who conducts an initial assessment. Clients undergo daily assessments and substance withdrawal care by a team including a Doctor, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, RNs and certified addiction specialists, receiving comprehensive withdrawal management, including medications as needed. During their safe and comfortable detoxification process, clients have the option to participate in therapy groups and receive assistance in coordinating next steps.

You will receive medically guided detoxification care that is responsive to how your body is feeling—with a private room and bathroom and a dignified environment as you work through the substance withdrawal.

Constantly assessing your needs, we tailor your medications and comfort interventions to keep you as comfortable as possible.

With expertise and a focus on dignity, we offer a dedicated space designed to optimize your comfort while safely and effectively guiding you through alcohol or drug withdrawal toward wellness of mind, body, and spirit.

Your private detox room contains a large and comfortable bed for you to relax and reflect in, with a personal ensuite bathroom and décor and amenities embracing you in luxury.

Together, we will work to create an individualized treatment plan that includes important next steps and sustainable aftercare options unique to you. We have longer-term residential programs on campus offering complete care.
