Intensive Outpatient Program
Service Overview
What is the IOP Outpatient rehab program like?
A step down from our Inpatient Rehab and Partial Hospitalization Programs, this Intensive Outpatient addiction treatment is a vital transitional period in your journey to recovery. Although we don’t see you as often, you’re still connected closely with your peers in group sessions, and your counselor and case manager are still with you every step of the way as you begin this last phase of addiction treatment.
Compared to Partial Hospitalization, our IOP is a less intensive outpatient treatment program that provides approximately 10 hours of individual and group therapy throughout the week, during the daytime or evening. This gives you the freedom to pursue work, school, family activities, and other parts of your life that contribute to a healthy recovery alongside the continued outpatient alcohol or drug treatment you need.

Our Outpatient addiction treatment program includes
Transition to substance-free recovery life
IOP (Intensive Outpatient) addiction treatment is mainly a critical component in our larger continuum of care, serving as the bridge between rehabilitation and the outside world.
IOP helps transition into life after treatment and empowers you to face challenges with fortitude and strength. However, some individuals seeking a lighter schedule for treatment start IOP directly or after detox.
Flexibility in addiction treatment
Individual and group therapy sessions continue at a lower frequency of 1 private and 3-5 group sessions per week, as clients start assuming real-life responsibilities and practically applying acquired healthy skills and boundaries.
Our day and evening outpatient addiction treatment options are designed to accommodate the busy schedules of individuals who need to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.
Substance rehabilitation Aftercare planning
The intensive outpatient program at WellBrook Recovery offers the support needed to navigate real-life challenges and troubleshoot potential difficulties outside the immersive inpatient setting.
With a flexible but structured approach to addiction treatment, IOP helps individuals achieve long-term sobriety and achieve their goals.
Individualized treatment plans
Similar to the residential inpatient program, WellBrook Recovery’s intensive outpatient program provides individual-focused treatment plans considering each individual's unique needs and circumstances. The treatment plan may include a combination of evidence-based therapies, in the form of individual and group therapy, family therapy, and holistic therapies.
