Wellbrook Recovery

Because the sobriety journey doesn’t end when treatment does

While we all wish that addiction rehab is the complete solution and upon graduation, you’re just set for life, realistically though, several weeks of rehab is not enough. Moving beyond addiction is a continuous and sometimes trying process, and graduates from our program need an alumni program as robust as ours to stay in touch with their recovery and carry them into real life.

The two ways our alumni program
ensures your success

A strong support network

Our alumni program is built on the power of peer support—those who have walked along the same path. Our dedicated alumni network provides ongoing events, encouragement, and resources, helping you stay connected to your recovery. Together, we foster a network of support that ensures no one has to complete this courageous journey alone.

Sobriety remains a focus

After treatment, you’d be surprised how quickly life settles down. Work and family responsibilities continue to crop up from right where you left them. Distractions abound, and it’s easy to lose focus on maintaining sobriety. With our alumni program, recovery maintains a critical space in your everyday life. During our events and meetings, you’ll be reminded of the therapies and lessons, keeping sobriety front and center for a truly blessed life.

When you’re ready to go into the big wide world, you can stick together with your Wellbrook friends to maintain all your hard-earned progress and new quality of life.

My Second Home

" There are meetings twice a week, and I still go back because it feels like a second home. Everyone there is like family, and I stay in touch with the guys I met during my time at Wellbrook. "

Highly Recommend

" The alumni AA house meetings are the best I’ve ever attended. Even though I’m not there anymore, I stay connected with the staff and fellow alumni. I highly recommend Wellbrook to anyone struggling
with addiction. "

Amazing Program

" The alumni program is amazing, with activities like softball and volleyball, as well as watching parties. It offers a safe way to stay engaged without feeling triggered, and the staff continues to support us long after we’ve left the program. "

Wellbrook Recovery

Learn. Break stigma. Spark hope.

Many clients do not just enter treatment carrying substance use struggles.
They also carry shame.

And shame can sound like:
“I shouldn’t need help.”
“This won’t work for me.”
“I’m too far gone.”

But addiction is not a moral failure, and treatment is not punishment. It is healthcare.

Sometimes the shift from skepticism to acceptance begins the moment a client realizes they are not broken, weak, or beyond help.

A lot of early recovery is not about mastering everything at once.
It is about building healthier responses to stress.

That might look like:
🌳 taking a walk
📱 calling or texting someone safe
🤝 going to a meeting
📝 journaling
🍽️ eating regularly
😴 sleeping consistently
🌲 using grounding tools before acting on impulse

Small coping shifts can create real momentum over time.
